Helped my pregnant wife unload the groceries from the car and went cut the grass while she was unloading them. She must have gotten distracted by our toddler and pregnancy brain must have kicked in thus forgetting to pick up the four packs of chicken we bought. I found them this morning still on the counter. Might as well have put $40 in the shredder

Only 12+ hours at room temperature

ETA: you should chastise your pregnant wife for being forgetful and wasteful, and report back.

Just remember that it's all your fault.

If you weren't dicking around outside on the mower the chicken would have gotten put up.

That’s funny.
I found the one bag I must have forgotten to take in from Publix this morning in the car
.75 lbs of turkey
.50 pounds of ham
.50 pounds of cheese
I was so pissed

Since you have never been pregnant, I am sure that you have never made a mistake before...

The story is unfortunate and frustrating but blaming it on her being pregnant is wild.

That's her way of saying she doesn't feel like cooking anything that's not a microwavable anytime soon.

Who.cares, bet you bitched about it to her. She left chicken out, so what you should've put the groceries away for your pregnant wife, ya lazy bustard. Lol

Just curious, how did you not go by the kitchen again after mowing until the next morning?

Either live in a mansion or have a weird house layout.

Did you not go in the kitchen after cutting the grass? I am sure you needed a cold beer, or glass of water. You could have put them away.

I helped her get them from the car but then she said she would take care of picking them up.

She did not pick up all the empty bags so I just assumed they were all empty and when I went to throw them away this morning I found it at the bottom of the pile.
