I married a country girl so I have

to eat what my mil cooks..especially since its rare she cooks.
My wife told me tonight it's a "hobo" dinner. Some kind of beef, peas; carrots and celery concoction and I better eat it.
Say a prayer i get it down without hurling..lol

Sounds as if somebody decided to rename "Shepherd's Pie" or if made with beef, "Country Pie". With those ingredients, soy sauce is a positive addition and the pies are baked with mashed potatoes with lots of cheese and butter on top.

Those things are good. You wrap everything in foil and put it on a fire when you go camping.

Beef and vegetables? Sounds pretty good to me. Not sure how you can screw that up. If she’s really that bad at cooking I doubt she would be offended if you offered to help her.

It’s called a hobo pack, and they’re pretty good. OP must prefer rabbit food or Soylent green
