What's the worst punishment you either had to give to your kids or got as a kid?

I had a pretty charmed life so only got grounded for a week or so for skipping math class as a junior. Otherwise I stayed on the straight and narrow.
My sister was caught sneaking out at night so she had to sleep in my parents' room while my dad slept in her room for a couple weeks. She was put under parental house arrest during that time so only existed at school and at home.

I was forced to eat tablespoons full of Tabasco hot sauce as a child every time I cursed. To this day, I still can’t stand the smell of Tabasco

My kids so far are pretty well behaved so we dont really have to punish them. A stern voice from me sets them straight typically.
My dad beat me with a switch he calmly cut off a tree on the front porch in front of all the neighbors when I was 8. Sad thing is I don’t remember what I did. Hurt like hell and was pretty embarrassing.

I got whipped with a hose one time until the nozzle broke off
You can tell who didn’t get whipped on here by their effeminate posting style

I got kicked out of summer camp when I was in middle school. We lived out in the country and our yard was around 4 acres. My dad went and bought a brand new yazoo push mower with the bicycle tire wheels on the back. For at least 5 hours every day that summer, I had to push mow the lawn or cut fence rows. As soon as I would get finished mowing the whole yard, I might get a day of cutting fence rows in before I had to start mowing again or else the grass would get too high and make it tougher to push. My stepmom didn't work, so she kept track of my hours and if I actually worked or not and reported back to my dad at the end of the day. The only thing that saved me from working was rain, and it was a long, hot, dry summer. I got worked hard that summer all to pay my parents back for the cost of that week of summer camp.

My grandparents would make us kneel in rice and my grandfather would draw a circle with chalk you had to hold you nose in. It was fricking abuse.

I punched a kid in his balls in 2nd grade and was sent to the principal’s office. My mom was on her 2nd marriage to a real abusive jackass. When we got back to the apartment all of my stuff was pushed to the sides of my room. The overweight jackass had me lie down in the middle of the floor and proceeded to sit on my back and made me smoke cigarettes. It was absolutely disgusting and I’ve hated cigarettes to this day. So in a sense he stopped me from being a smoker. His most regularly used punishment was to have me stand with my back against the wall with my arms straight out and he’d put books on my hands. When my arms dropped a little that’s when he would start beating me with a belt. That would cause me to drop the books and I would continue getting beat until I picked up the books. He was a real a-hole.

The worst punishment you could give a kid was this..You can't go out and play. An arse beating was better than that.

At 16, my daughter thought she was above the law. Second time being late coming home. It got heated. I smashed her phone to piece's, put her on her knees until she could barely function and was crying profusely and grounded for two weeks.

The worst I got was got beat with a belt and was confined to my room for 6 months and was only allowed to got to school and sports practices/games
The worst I ever gave my kids was took my daughters bedroom door off the hinges and took away her phone
My son, probably took away his video game or something......he's a pretty good kid and never really gave us any trouble

Instead of my thumb as a toddler/very young child I sucked my index fingers. Mom and dad tried Tabasco and it backfired on them. I have always had an affinity for hot spicy food since.

My Mother locked me in a very small closet so I wouldn't go running up the street to my Grandparents while she called the orphanage to come and take me away.
She didn't call, but I remember the terror and to this day I hate small enclosed places.

I refused to eat my vegetables one night at dinner. Dad woke me up at 6AM the next morning to a plate full of steaming broccoli and a cold glass of milk and i wasn't allowed to leave the table until jd eaten it all. I haven't eaten broccoli since.

My a-hole of a father took a paddle ball board and traced its shape into billet aluminum he had flattened out to hold the shape. Solid3/8 inch sheet. Cut the shape of the paddle board out the drilled holes into the paddle to decrease air resistance. I was beat for any manner of "offenses" with that paddle. He's in prison. Good riddance.

I got two speeding tickets when I was 15 years old. Courts took away my driving privileges for 90 days.
That kind of sucked

God has blessed me so far. My daughter has never gotten into trouble. She shares her location on her phone with us and she typically can be found in the library on Friday and Sat nights, and in her dorm by 930-10. Worst punishment has been taking away her phone in high school for back talking her mom.
My son hates school but loves swimming, so
We are constantly trying to impress upon him the value of academics and getting into a good college. So, from time to time, we have to remove his video game privileges for a week or more.
Other than normal teenage BS from my son, we haven’t really had to “discipline” them.
