Seems like EBR Sheriff is working overtime. Seems like there is one a week in the parish, sometimes multiple raids in a day. Media has not shown up yet but raids are shut down and several undercover vehicles, a drone and the road is blocked off.

UPDATE - Apparently it was the US Marshalls going after a Damien Spencer.

Well thanks for letting the cat out the bag. Hopefully the perps aren’t browsing the OT.

Perps were not going anywhere. 4 undercover suburbans and drone were on the scene already and no one was going anywhere. Breakfast with the po po.

The house they raided looked like a drug den. The people typically going in and out of said house are methy. hopefully cops took care of it.

Isn’t that a pretty decent neighborhood?

It's Baton Rouge. Do you expect any different?
Here are the mayoral candidates you get to choose from:

It's a great neighborhood but it's larger than people realize. Most streets are nice but there are one or two areas with smaller, older, run down homes.

Its funny at this point, but you would think more people would notice what goes on. Its funny how there can have all of these issues that seems like there is no fix for.... then election year comes around and BAM all of a sudden law enforcement is making big drug bust (as if that will do anything. Someone else will be happy to supply the demand. In order for anything to be done, law enforcement has to remain aggressive, but without problems there is nothing to fix. Headlines wins elections)

I was thinking one of the houses at the corner of Fleet and Chelsea. Lived in that neighborhood for 50+ years off Chelsea near a cul de sac. There have always been drugs in Westminster/Pine Park but arrests were few and the drugs mostly weed use and some coke, tho the coke use was more discreet.

i think one or two of the houses at Fleet and Chelsea are rent houses.
