I think it’s symbolic. The wings are swan wings which are traditionally feminine but they’re on a buffalo which is a masculine animal

I’ve always though Bdub’s did a surprisingly good job making a Buffalo with wings in its commercials.

Lifelike isn’t the right word, but the computer design guys do a good job with it.
