LSU has a reputation of having the meanest fans.

A radio personality and his friends, all from Minnesota have been going to SEC home games at every school. They’ve been to about 8 schools so far and they’re going to the LSU UCLA game Saturday. He said all the other sec schools fans have been warning them not to go to LSU, because the LSU fans are the meanest. I assume they’re talking about they treat opposing fans. Do you agree with this? I’m not sure, but I heard a coach from another team say little kids were flipping them off getting off the bus at LSU.

1. I saw a picture of a little kid in Columbia flipping one of our players off.
2. A 2:40pm game versus a OOC team we have never played here and who is terrible, is not gonna draw the enmity of LSU fans like alabama would. I doubt these Minnesota guys will see anything negative to report. They'll probably get free food and free booze from several tailgates.

LSU does have a ton of trash in its fan base, but it’s still not as bad as the university of Florida.

LSU fans are some of the most hospitable fans out there. But we’re also a bit “ Jekyll and Hyde”. We will welcome you in and feed you before the game, then we’ll pounce on you during the game. After the game, we’ll rock your team’s bus. If you manage to make it through that, we’ll have another beer with you.

Walking out after the Nicholls game I was stopped by two dudes with European accents. They said they were UNO students and wanted to know where to go out after the game. I'm not from BR and my going out days are way behind me. I told them to ask somebody who looked like a student. I hope they found some place not trashy.

LSU fans are very in your face, but extremely hospitalable at home games. Away games, LSU fans are always down to spend their money at any local establishment.
I've never heard anything worse than "LSU fans smell like corndogs" but I will tell you that living in South Florida, a lot of Gator fans (primarily the actual graduates) think their shite does not stink. Ole Miss fans are a close second because act hoity toity, but they're a glorified special education school so they need something to care about.

The current LSU fan base is getting extremely soft.
Yall getting perfectly willing to bend over and take it dry from the SEC and TV networks that has our game.
It's a sad sad state of affairs when we can't even keep our OOC games at Night..........

There's good and bad in every fan base. Especially in the SEC. Anyone who lumps an entire fanbase together is just over-projecting a one time experience
