Maybe we should talk about the government price gouging its citizens. Grocers make 1.5-2% profit while the tax rate ranges from 5-10% depending where you live. The government makes more money off your grocery shopping than the store providing the service. How about we deregulate and trim back government so we can reduce taxes? The government is so inefficient that losing half of its workforce would probably not be noticed.
