This is going to be way more than you think it is.

I would imagine whether it was insurance or not, the best non insurance place would be the best insurance place.

I'm in that business

Good - Cavin's Medine's, Gordon & Sandifer, Collision Solutions, Premier in Zachary

Not as good - Gerber and Joe Hudson (they're the Walmart of body shops)

Bad - Owen's, AAA

Cash job - I know a few meth head body shops that can make that thing look new for very cheap. Just make sure you never wreck it a second time.

Cavin’s or Custom Colors are the two we have used with great results in the past.

Medine's. They took a while for my vehicle to get repaired in 2021 but I think that was largely in part due to the ramifications of the deadly cold virus that shut down and delayed industries from producing much of anything.

Owen's

I thought they filed for bankruptcy a number of years ago?

I know there's a new name at their previous location on old jefferson, is it the same group running it under the new name as it was under Owens?

Just an FYI. If you try to handle this yourself without involving insurance and then either you or the other party changes their mind and decides to claim it against your insurance later, you run the risk that your insurance could deny the claim. There’s generally terms in the policy that require you to promptly notify the insurer after an accident and about not attempting to settle a claim on your own.

An you would be right. My nephew had a vehicle that waited for parts, took around 6-8 months to finish. I didn't like the vehicle he had, I told him, buy something else, then sell that POS when it's fixed.
