Some games look good on paper (USC vs Michigan, Tennessee vs Oklahoma, maybe UCLA vs LSU), but will be blowouts. The rest are duds. When do the good games start?

I'm a college football nut. I like the bad and average "competitive" games. That is what makes Saturdays like this Saturday great. It may not be good football but it is competitive.

Illinois/ Nebraska
UF/MSU
Kan/WV
Gt/Lou
Utah/OK St
Cal/FSU
Iowa/Minn
KSU/BYU

These are all games that intrigue me and will be on TV2 or TV3 on Saturday.

I'm sure you had Georgia @ Kentucky penciled in as a 1 point game this time last week too

Miami traveling to Tampa to play USF is intriguing. I think USC/MICH and Tennessee/OU have potential to be great games. You never know how a team (UT) will play in a true road environment until they do.

We're 3 TD favorites. If this is a "good game", then we are in deep doo doo for the ROS

UCLA is likely to win 2 or 3 games this year. They are awful on both sides of the ball.

Y'all have no idea how much of a shite show that 2:30 Arkansas at Auburn game is going to be.

Two absolutely mentally challenged teams, full of stupidity, incompetence, bizarre coaching and wildlynl eradic QB play.

That game will be as entertaining as anything in Saturday, for all the wrong reasons.

General Booty is leading the undefeated Warhawks into Austin on Saturday. It’s gonna be electric.

Tenn/OU isn't going to be a blowout.

this is a good one. One of these teams will have a bye in the playoffs depending on who wins the rematch in December for the conference championship

I agree, all of these are intriguing for different reasons.

The Iron Skillet game between TCU and SMU is usually entertaining, too.

A surprising 3-0 Arizona State traveling to Texas Tech could turn into a shootout.

Also NC State/Clemson feels like an early make-or-break game for both, and the Wolfpack have given Dabo fits in the past.

Hell, even Baylor/Colorado could be interesting if Aranda's defense is truly improved. The spread is only CU -1.5 right now.

This is actually a really good week on paper. We'll see how it turns out though.

Next week sucks, but it has Georgia @Bama so that's enough to save it. Then the following week (6) is pretty bad.

From week 7 and on, you have some bangers every week.

As an aside, as I was browsing week to week, didn't realize how loaded Georgia's schedule is. shite is as almost wild as OU's with Bama, ole miss, Texas and Tenn

UGA's is the toughest schedule I can remember

Clemson
@ Bama
@ Texas
@ Ole Miss
Tennessee

and they looked like crap @ Kentucky

they go 10-2 with that and they deserve the playoff

I know, about fricking time.

They play top 5 matchups @Bama, @OM, and @Texas. Doesn’t include the home game they play against #6 Tennessee. Will be the first season in my lifetime where I watch multiple Georgia games before December.

In my opinion, every week is a good week. College football is officially back. Best time of the year!
