What the frick country is this? Those guardsmen should be ashamed of themselves. They should also be standing trial. They obviously didn't learn about Nuremburg trials or My Lai massacre in school.

It's something we're seeing pretty consistently. Cops/guardsmen/FBI - "just doing my job".
What's even more disappointing is, as far as I know anyway, there isn't any pushback from within these professions.

I think the response to that should have been harsh. I am a veteran and I still believe the response should have been harsh.

They have been reforming the armed forces into DEI playgrounds for a reason.
Also, your local LE will just take orders.
When it comes time to depend on someone to protect you and your loved ones, you’d better be able to protect yourself. From our armed forces, LE, and others.

If so, then bring in their commanders and demand they produce the actual orders they received and the orders they gave to their subordinates.
If anything resembling that actually happened - or was permitted to happen - then heads should roll.
