Seems to confirm some of the tea leaves in the data so far. Most respondents think Harris "won" the debate, but Trump actually picked up a larger chunk of undecided voters.

Makes sense. She didn’t say anything or answer any questions.

It was orange man bad the whole night.

Maybe Megan Kelly was right…Trump might have won a lot of empathy for undecided and independents.

Love this shot the most... never staged or planned - sources say it's the only time she's had her hand on her face in public.... except for that time Willie Brown spooged on her in the club mens' room.

Because to the extent there are any truly "undecided voters" out there, if there is anything that is going to push them in Trump's direction, it's the fact that the uniparty does not want him in the White House and wants to retain power at all costs. If you watched that debate, even as an independent, it was obvious that ABC had its thumb on the scales the entire night.

I do think there were a lot of people that watched that debate and thought to themselves, "Man, these people (the media) REALLYYYY don't want him to win this election."

So, basically, Kamala didn't perform nearly as bad as anticipated from a debate standpoint, but she missed an opportunity to connect with voters and failed, resulting in undecideds mostly going for Trump.

If that's the case, Trump truly won the debate. Trump may ramble and Kamala may have seemed prepared and polished, but Trump actually says things of substance in between rambling. Things were much better when he was in office.

The 3 on 1 was a bad look for the democrats. Black men and others recognize it. Mostly men. Nobody likes a snarky know it all like Kamala

Anyone who is still open minded about this race wants to know the substance of the candidates. Well they already know how Trump governs and understood basically everything he was talking about, even if he got pissed and flustered during the debate. Trump was Trump in the debate for better or for worse.

Now with Kamala, she said absolutely nothing but substance. No one after the debate still has any ideas where she stands on the issues, even with abortion where she refused to say if terminating a pregnancy should be legal in nine months. She looked better and calmer than Trump did, but she still got nothing out of the debate.

Save for some of the blatant lies, no one remembers anything Kamala said that night. Trump got some decent zingers in though with “Run Spot Run” and saying he was going to send her a MAGA hat. I still remember some of Trump’s zingers in 2016 against Hillary and I don’t remember really anything Hillary said.

Yep. Sure she sounded and looked better than Trump did, but the undecideds got absolutely no policy out of her in the debate. Trump was not only crystal clear with his policies, but people have already lived under them. Plus everyone could see it was three on one debate and Trump fought them off as best he could.

Kamala may have won the battle during the debate, but she may have just lost the war. Now some sympathetic allies may be coming to Trump’s rescue over this.

Trump stealing her “I’m speaking now” line was hilarious. You just know she was fuming

What constitutes “winning”? A zinger that the morons in the media get moist over, or picking up votes?

Kamala's presentation was better than expected, but it was it was a pack of lies covered up in false platitudes that are contrary to her long standing leftist positions.

Yeah, her father is a Marxist professor, too and she, like Obama, has virtually no American roots or culture in her.

You must have turned over every rock to get that poll. leger is a Canadian marketing company the NY Post uses to get the results they want.

why not get a poll result from a reputable polling source?

Y'all remember when Trump called this bitch and her father Marxists on national television, to her face like she asked for, and she offered NO denials or retorts?

Kudos to Trump for that. That needed to be said and I haven't seen anyone pointing out the fact that this was done and Kamala did not address the accusation at all. She is a Marxist radical and she could not even bring herself to renounce Marxism for the campaign even though she has been willing to lie and misrepresent her positions on other topics in order to deceive voters.

Publicly renouncing Marxism is just something she cannot bring herself to do.

Kamala did what she (or probably more accurately - the Democrat Party Establishment) wanted - she gave energy to the base. She appealed - and I think by design - to the MSNBC crowd.
That was the reason they dumped Biden - he could not energize the people with TDS the way they wanted.

I think the fact that they have chosen this strategy indicates they see very low enthusiasm from Democrats and their fear that a huge red wave will happen giving Republicans a relatively big majority in the House along with retaking the Senate by a handful or so seats.

Some of this might just be that they recognize the limitations of Kamala. She is unlikeable. Perhaps they have seen in focus groups or whatever that when she advocates for specific policies it turns off people open to voting for either candidate. They know her record is out there and focusing so much on policy will expose her as a fake if she tries to moderate her positions with specifics.

Kamala came in regurgitating talking points she memorized from 3x5 index cards - undecideds received no better understanding of her policy vision or nuance than before the debate. Trump won.
