Someone posted a tomato salad dressing recipe here once or twice, and I made it and it was fantastic. Seems like I have lost that recipe. It was canned diced tomatoes, mayo, pepper, and maybe a few other things. Could one of you post it if you have it? Thanks!

4 cups mayo
14 oz. can of diced tomatoes
1/2 cup minced garlic------I found this to be a bit much and cut back
1 tbsp. black pepper
Put all this in a blender and puree and pour in a mason jar and refrigerate

That’s it! Thanks Kosmo.

Drain the tomatoes or no?

Been using this and it's fantastic if you don't feel like making it.
The recipe posted is very close to that $$$ jar of dressing. It will cost about $1.50 to make it using that recipe.

Just go buy the Cousins Creole Tomato Salad Dressing in the jar.

1/2 cup is gonna be strong, but it mellows after a week or so. I used elephant garlic last time and it was milder

The linked Cousins website says the dressing is "simaliar to a Remoulade".
I wonder how many years that typo has sat there.

Oh my! It is definitely similar to a white remoulade.

This but we add 3 tbsp of onion powder and a splash of white vinegar prob two tbsp. and salt to taste

I didn’t clarify in the OP, but the reason for the post is I remember it being a near clone for the Cousin’s dressing, and the difference in price was so significant. So I appreciate the link, but Kosmo had what I was looking for.

From what I remember when I made it a year or so ago, leave the juice. And think I also compromised on a third cup of minced garlic. Mellowed out after a few days.
