They are EVERYWHERE and go to show you how wealthy Pfizer, Eli Lilly, etc. are to be able to buy up so much advertising time. The latest greatest push is coming from weight loss injections like Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, etc. that are being pushed incessantly despite all of the side effects( Warnings) and weight gain return once medication is stopped. At a cost of nearly $1,000 per month for these medications it's amazing what the desire to lose weight will cause people to do.

I lowered the frick out of my A1C dude, calm down.

I'm definitely sick of seeing that creepy black guy in the record shop in the Wegovy commercial. That painter chick can probably give a bj straight from heaven though.

“Warning: May cause death. If death occurs, consult your primary physician.”
You mean those fricking things?

It's all just to control the networks.
That's the purpose of Pharma advertising.

Nah man... its the desire to never exercise
Guessing a lot of these ads are targeted for certain areas. We get 3x as many insurance commercials than pharma commercials. I cant think of many weight loss drug commercials this year

Yeah, you'd think that just the $ from their advertising budgets alone would go a long way toward fixing some issues in health care costs.

Have started to see some for dogs. It’s out of control.
Posted on 9/6/24 at 3:00 pm to Cajun75
Isn’t it illegal to do so in pretty much every other country?
Posted on 9/6/24 at 3:01 pm to Cajun75
You can move to literally any other first world country (with exception of New Zealand) and those commercials are banned.
I was published in lsu medical journal as undergrad about the dangers of pharma and DTC (direct to consumer) advertising.
