Wrist Injury/Pain - Anybody Dealt With It?

For about 2 months now I've been dealing with a wrist injury that I'm sure came from golf. It has progressively gotten worse and this past week was my club championship so I played 4 days in a row and it killed me the entire time.
For about a month it hurt really just while I was laying. But for the past month it's hurt pretty much all the tie and just intensifies while playing.
I got a diagnosis from Dr. Google and I'm thinking either tendinitis/tendon injury or possibly something in the carpal bone. Found this picture online and it's pretty much this transverse carpal spot but the pain is in a longer area (starting slightly above my wrist almost all the way to my pinkie)...
Anybody dealt with a similar injury? Was this something you were able to work through/went away in time or do I just need to go ahead and go see a Dr.? TIA

Edited. Odd because I just copy and pasted the same thing but now it's showing up.

Thanks. Added one to my cart. Their website also has a few you tube videos with stretches as well. Going to watch those later.

Yes, any pressure or movement makes it worse.

I’m not an orthopedist.
Edited due to change in location of injury.

That’s exactly what us is, had the same problem. Went to a hand/wrist specialist, received 2 shots in the sheath surrounding the wrist, was better in a few days, a couple of weeks later, the problem was completely resolved.

It sounds like deQuervains tenosynovitis
So I'm a dummy. The picture isn't right (I edited with a new photo). It's actually on the outside of my left hand, that runs along the pinkie side, not the thumb side. But reading that article, it sounds exactly like that just on the opposite side.

Yea I had bad wrist pain about 8 years ago. I could still play golf but it was noticeable pain. Then it got progressively worse over a year or so to the point I couldn’t swing a club.
Finally went in to the dr. X-rays done and the hand specialist was shocked. He said he’s never seen it before but he believed I had a rare “disease” called Keinbocks. Basically, the lunate bone in your wrist loses blood flow and slowly dies.
He immediately said to go see a hand specialist in Baltimore that specializes in keinbocks. Went up there and confirmed the diagnosis and we scheduled surgery.
Surgery was 4 hours or so and they went in to my right knee to pull segments of my cartilage, bone and blood vessels to then put in my injured wrist. I was in a cast for a couple months and then PT following that.
I never will regain full motion of my wrist but there is no pain and when I started to golf again I had to adjust my grip a bit and now only hit draws which is nice. I’ve completely eliminated the right side of the course

Yikes, sorry man. I go to the doctor so freaking much, I hate having another reason to go but I know that's what I should do.

Go to a hand specialist. Currently putting off a fusion surgery. Can play but hurts every day.

It really scared me thinking I would never play golf again and this happened when I was just getting out of college so I had my whole life ahead of me.
Thank god for that dr in Baltimore though. There’s only two surgeons in the world that do keinbocks surgery and the other is in Austria.
It’s such a rare surgery that only a couple 100 people have done it and he gave me references to call which made me feel better.
Now, I have a sweet scar on my wrist and knee. I tell my nieces/nephews I got bit by a baby shark because that’s what it looks like

I had this. I got cortisone shot in the wrist sheath and wore a compression wrap around my wrist for a few rounds. Problem eventually went away.
eta in dealing with this i discovered that i apparently sleep on my wrist a lot. added a compression brace (ulnar?) at night for a couple weeks while i was dealing with it. i keep the wrist strap in the golf bag now in case it flares up again. it has a couple times but it is mostly gone now.

Aerotech Steelfibers for the most similar to steel feel without the stress on joints.
Recoils/MMT for exceptional feel and much easier on the body, for a cheaper price.

Sorry if I missed it, but is this in your left or right hand?
