Just finished watching the 6 seasons over the last few weeks. I like that each season were only 6 episodes, I found it kept the story moving and no filler episodes that would normally be during a long season. Overall, I thought it was a good series, it had its ups and downs. Arthur was a trip, and as long as he stayed sober he was a fun character to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed all the revenge in the last episode. I just wish they would have been able to get the nazi guy. And I didn't understand why he didn't kill the doctor.

Anyway, one glaring thing.....this series almost turned me into a smoker.

I think Polly's actress' death in real life put them all into scramble mode for the final season.

we’re talking about Mosley right?

he died in 1980, so the assassination attempt never had much of a chance of success

i confess to buying a case of this just to see the look on my friends' faces when i pull it out from behind the bar and pour them a glass when the conversation invariably turns to PB.

I need to give this one another try. Made it about halfway thru S1 and got distracted, fell off.

Don’t worry this happens to pretty much everybody. It took me about 4 tries to get through the first episode but once I stuck with it it ended up being in my top series of all time. Phenomenal show. Loved the American mob with Brodhi season

agree with this. took me about 4 tries to make it through ep 1 and get hooked. I was missing a lot with the accents until i turned on the subtitles

Great first 4 seasons, lost its way the last two.

Hoping the movie they are doing can end on a strong note

The first 2 seasons are fantastic, the rest is still pretty damn good.

It is watching Cillian Murphy at the peak of his powers. Sophie Rundle and Tom Hardy also put in strong performances

Yep. Oswald Mosley was a nasty dude. Former Labour Party MP, he became the leader of Britain's Fascist party in 1930 and tried to make alliances with Mussolini and Hitler. Jailed in 1940, basically kicked out of Britain after the war, and spent the rest of his life starting holocaust denial conspiracies.
