Back to making motorcycles again as Robby Starbuck chalks one more victory into his rock star resume

Harley-Davidson released a statement on Monday renouncing DEI and other controversial company initiatives in the wake of social-media outrage and withering pressure from longtime loyal bikers.

"It is critical to our business that we hire and retain the best talent and that all employees feel welcome," the statement reads.

"That said, we have not operated a DEI function since April 2024, and we do not have a DEI function today. We do not have hiring quotas and we no longer have supplier diversity spend goals."

The statement also said Harley-Davidson was reassessing employee training initiatives and sponsorships while refocusing on its most loyal customers.

"As a consumer brand, we will focus exclusively on growing the sport of motorcycling and retaining our loyal riding community, in addition to the support we already provide to first responders, active military members and veterans."

a lot harder to quit the brand of your bike than your brand of beer otherwise I'd guess they would suffer the same fate as Bud.

It starts at the top. That showing at Sturgis was inexcusable, and sent a message. When you have all those Harley riders in one place and can’t even get them to darken your door, you know how bad it’s gotten.

As long as the Communist Climate Nut is still CEO then absolutely nothing has changed

You can still hear the disdain for their own customers in that garbage arse memo they sent out yesterday

They are only saddened that they got caught

Either fire all those responsible or the boycott continues

Harley has to be a dying brand now anyways. I don’t think ive seen anyone below age 65 riding one.

How are so many companies so completely out of touch with their customer bases?

Did they honestly think most bikers are progressive and/or gay?

Really don't hear that many Harleys anymore in the roads. Apparently Europe is their fastest growing market.
