Before Biden I used Carter as the standard for not good, Kamala Harris is far and away the the least inspiring person I have ever seen, not even politically speaking, how is she leading in Pennsylvania, (According to fox news), are these cocksuckers astroturfing us?

I don’t think she’s winning in PA. You had a poll co e out today that said she was down in PA too. All of Kamala’s actions seem to indicate she’s throwing a Hail Mary. They had to know Walz was pretty radical, and yet she hired him. She went full commie today with the price controls. Dems usually race to the middle once they get the nomination. She seems to be going the other way.

Well the media, academia, and federal government are on board with her so you can’t believe anything, except that she’ll get whatever votes she needs to win.

She isn't.

They're trying to artificially inflated her popularity to set the stage for a "razor thin race" and another stolen election. Don't bite.

You saw how "popular" she was the last couple of weeks up until we found out she was actually just speaking at free hip-hop concerts to young drunk people on opiates. Suddenly, she has another "rally to unveil her economic policy plan" and can't even draw 125 people including the press? Nah.

Carter was so stupid he didn't know he was being controlled and manipulated. Kamala and Biden know they are just puppets.

When you are as batshit far left as they are, normal looks radical.

They have to say she's leading in PA so when those Philly precincts have vans full of ballots to count at 2am, it looks like they predicted it all along.

She's so fake it's insane. Dumb vote magnet, but I'm a little surprised that even really stupid people can't see it.

They're not voting for her. They're voting agenda, deviants, fetus killers, success envious, welfare leeches, government employee deadbeats.

Carter was a quitter - he literally was willing to quit on America and settle for failure.

I think it was because he allowed his Baptist piety to overrule his ability to accept the realities of the profane (in the spiritual sense) world.

Translation: he was too soft…

old heads
My first memory is FDR addressing the nation after Pearl Harbor. My first knowledge of politics was Truman's surprise win '48. My first election to vote was for Nixon v JFK in 1960.

I've never voted for any Democrat above local mayor/sheriff level in my life.

Our nation missed its chance for unstoppable greatness when Goldwater was defeated. I hated LBJ - but even so, I could not believe he would have lied about the Bay of Tonkin incident that got us wound up in Vietnam. I knew exactly what he meant with his 'great society' push that was the catalyst for the racial turmoil and societal distrust we suffer today. I have always believed he was involved in the assassination of JFK, who I didn't vote for, but felt he was a good POTUS (except for bungling the Bay of Pigs 'incident' which gave USSR a foothold in Cuba.)

Nixon was overall a very good POTUS. To me, his biggest mistake was his 'price control' initiative that set off the first big recession. But it was his tenure that made it clear there was a real bias in the 'journalism' profession. This is when the people behind the microphones discovered they held a huge cudgel with which to mold the 'public information' and began using it to propagandize the American electorate. They tasted blood in the water and have pursued that tactic ever since.

Carter was a good man - but totally unfit for POTUS - tried to micromanage every aspect of the economy. He became more radical in his post presidential life.

Reagan was the star political actor of my life. He showed us the way forward and gave us a sense of pride in our accomplishments that still motivate any of us alive to this day. Not even the press could dent his overall greatness and deserves the equivalent of a "position on Mt Rushmore." Not even the press could dint his performance.

The first Bush was an enigma in retrospect. I had no insight into the current rap on his being part of the now despised "GOPe." My thought at the time was that he just gave up on the political madness that characterized his bid for a second term. I think he felt 'above that fray.'

Clinton was the most skilled 'politician' of my lifetime - you have to give it to him wrt his sense of "what will get me elected" but even so, he had tremendous help from Ross Perot, and the media in molding public opinion. I think the evil in his life was centered in HRC. I think he was just in it for the personal acclaim and young women he could seduce.

The younger Bush was overall a good POTUS - imho. I cannot refute with personal information any of the abuse he has had heaped on him on this board. I do not want to believe it, but am unable to argue against it.

Obama was a major disaster - he soared to undeserved heights of public adoration based entirely on the efforts of the now unrepentant Journalism Profession which magnified every 'positive' and absolutely buried any criticism. He enlarged the 'deep state' influence into every aspect of government but most importantly in the "justice" oriented departments - DOJ, CIA, etc.

Trump is the biggest enigma of my lifetime - I do not like the man himself, but have nothing but admiration for the 'results' he was able to achieve. He is the first POTUS to have the entirety of the federal/state governmental offices worked in direct opposition to his every act. With the advent of his tenure, the journalism quit even trying to hide their prejudice and mendacity. How he was able to navigate thru that hellscape is a mystery to me.

Conversely, the Biden administration is a total JOKE - not one thing about it is genuine - it is ALL a figment of the pre-determined desires of the 'deep state' with the "news-making, and distributing' profession in full control of what the public is allowed to view or hear.

Another tenure of the current situation will spell the complete destruction of the 'American experiment in self government' - we will become nothing more than another banana republic under total control by the 'annointed' ones chosen by the oligarchy in charge of all our information related positions.

I am approaching the end of my days, and find very little to look forward to - every indication I see is that we will revert to subjugation by evil forces beyond our control.

I actually sometimes wish I'd kicked the bucket the day after we won the national championship in 2020. EVERYTHING looked GREAT then - pride in LSU - fantastic economic progress - peace breaking out all around the world - future looking rosy.

Then, suddenly, came the COVID scam - undoubtedly (in my view) a conspiracy between DEMOCRAT party operatives, the Chinese CCP, and hostile actors (Fauci, et al) in our very own Health departments.

I am now just a disillusioned old man.

When people talk about how nice Carter was, all I can think about is waiting in line to get gas on our day.

This is my thought as well. He was just in over his head. A good and decent man that was unprepared for the realities of being President of the mightiest nation on earth.
