Wants back in the NBA. Seems like a Willie Green type guy. Buyout is $2.5m from Real Madrid. I'd do it. What say you, PT?

I think they are set for now.

This is probably the team until the deadline.

Don't forget that Evan Fornier looked like a Hall of Famer in the 2021 Olympics. Don't put too much stock into what you saw in Paris. But he did look like a gamer.

Fournier was a really good player in the league for awhile

He would be a nice backup 4.

Right, but nothing like he was in the Tokyo Olympics.

Is this the dude from France who dunked on Lebron? If so, he definitely would give us a level of toughness that we are lacking with the departure of Naji. I like having a bruiser on the squad coming off the bench who can get physical in the middle of the games to wear down opponents come the 4th. I think that was a very underrated component of Naji’s game.

Right, I think that's why I'd like him. He seems hungry to get back in the NBA and seems like a tough player. Seems like a Willie Green-type player, like I said.

Why not, you can evaluate him doing training camp and see if he is a keeper

Because it would cost 2.5 mil. to buy out his contract, and then at least 1.7 mil. min. salary (could be unguaranteed until later date) and use up a roster spot.

He’s bigger than JRE’s worthless arse who’s taking up a roster spot.
And he shot over 40% from 3 internationally for the last 5 years.

Forgive my ignorance, but does that money count against the cap? Or is it simply as an operating expense?
