The Hangover is the answer to me.

The original Hangover is one of the best movies ever made.

The Hangover Part II was a below average bordering on bad movie.

The Hangover Part III is one of the worst movies ever made.

Supposedly there will soon be a Hangover Part IV, which I will have exactly zero interest in seeing.

It’s The Matrix for me. In 1999 The Matrix was talked about as the next Star Wars franchise.

The Marvels is the most recent that comes to mind.

Yeah, it wasn't until about a month ago that I realized that Caddyshack 2 even existed. I've never seen Caddyshack 2 myself, but everybody says it's really bad.

1st thing that came to mind although reloaded is pretty good. They shoulda waited longer to make the third. I still think Trinity should have saved Neo in some way at the end.

Some people back in the day felt the same way about star wars and return of the jedi
