My wife and I have had two "special occasion" dinners at White Pillars. You will pay a little bit of a premium, but it is worth it. If we are in that area for a nice meal, we will probably eat there again.

WP is a better spot to celebrate a special occasion.
Lively, great bar for pre and post drinks, usually has a little acoustic or piano going. Restaurant itself isn’t stuffy. You can watch them work in the kitchen. Menu is just adventurous enough.
Vestige is very niche. If it’s not on one’s radar already it probably isn’t for them imo

The oysters at WP are sourced to perfection. Place is great. I’ve never been to Vestige.
