1819 News is where we go. We'll, other than here, of course.

Everybody has a price. Because of this, unbiased journalism doesn’t exist anymore.

I don't think unbiased or unslanted news exists any longer.

Its not really a source of 'news', but I try to listen to debates on broader topics because you get a better picture of what both sides think when they have to address each other directly, and can usually tell when one side obviously has a better argument or if its just a complicated issue and its kind of up to you to find the middle ground.

Journalism/news is completely screwed up these days.

I don't think it ever existed. It is just a matter of degree of the bias. Today's bias is huge.

Massive old pine tree stump off of Hwy 165. I use chicken intestines and oracle bones.

Not 100% accurate for sure, but anonymous sources are saying that it is better than anything else I've found.

BBC for the win!

Just as a side note:

By this measure, The Weather Channel persists as the most trusted news source, as it was in 2022 and 2023: Americans are 43 percentage points more likely to call The Weather Channel trustworthy as they are to call it untrustworthy.

In one sense, it never really did. News moguls and local papers always had editorials that slanted at least a little and headlines to generate sales. But at least there was some separation between hard news and editorial content. The advent of the 24-hour news cycle plus online content has not simply blurred that line, it has all but erased it.

So my advice to the OP is to listen to and read multiple sources, including those that seem to slant away from your leanings. It is always good to know the other perspective to help you not to give in to your own inherent biases and to help you to rightly determine if you have developed a correct opinion or if you should get more information before deciding.

This.

The best you can do is make sure you’re getting multiple sources that slightly slant in multiple directions so you can come to your own conclusions.

Ground news

It’s a news source aggregator that labels sources as left, center, or right (with degrees of bias) and also tells you if the story itself is having a left or right bias in reporting, based on the number of sources and where they lean.

The AP. Usually fact based. Not many opinions.

Also a good app with not too many adds
