Any suggestions to getting this under control? It’s horrible in parts of my lawn this year.

I went on vacation for a week+ during our monsoon season and it started to show up in big patches in my front. I hit it with celsius. I think that is the only thing I've ever had luck with knocking it back.

Best options are Celsius and Tribute Total. Herbicides with combinations of 2,4-D or dicamba with other active ingredients are fair to good also.

That’s basically what happened to me also.
Thanks

Celsius as a post-emergent.
Specticle as pre-emergent applied in late-April/early May & if a particularly bad infestation and rainy, a second application of Specticle in August for a year or 2. Prodiamine & Dimension pre-emergents are not effective against Doveweed.

Doveweed has been wrecking my yard this summer.

Celsius is what you want to use a post emergent.

Blindside is a pre and post and works well for doveweed

Same. Dove weed infestation came on super strong for me over the last week.

keep it cut, looks like grass to me.....Im tired of fighting weeds....
I spot spray Celsius 2-3 times per year for VBW and others, and that's it.
Whatever grows, grows!

I used my second last teaspoon of celsius yesterday targeting some doveweed.
Bought the bottle 2015.
Was $105 back then,pleasantly surprised it's only $125 now.

Doesn’t look like the Celsius is killing it, just yellows it. Can I also pop it with some MSMA target 6?

How long ago did you spray? 3 weeks? Spray it again. What concentration did you use? You use surfactant in the herbicide solution? If not, be sure to add it
I’ve never had Celsius fail to kill Doveweed in my lawn.

I’m at max rate, I’ve been spraying it every two weeks. It’ll turn yellow and the. Surge back after it rains
Edit: yes surfactant is used. I also have sedgehammer mixed in.

I’m pretty sure when I punched my yard that shite spread like wildfire. Though I had it under control last year.
