I wonder if this is the olive branch he agreed to when he agreed to step down ?
That if they would go along with it then he would step down and to try to salvage his term by giving him something to talk about until January
Because it would be reallllll awkward if not because he absolutely must rely on Pelosi and Schumer to attempt to get this passed when they were the same ones who strong armed him to step down in the first place

Enlarging the court is stupid. 9 members is already pushing the limits for a single panel—which SCOTUS has to (or at least should) be.

Adding members is the only thing on his wishlist that wouldn’t require an amendment. But it’s DOA too, it won’t pass the House and they’d have to bypass the filibuster to get it through the Senate.

Agree. Political stunt to try and find something with traction. Go look at the X trend, the bots are out but it will not last. Although some of the language being used is very concerning, I hope no one gets bad ideas about hurting someone on the SC.
