Unless Schumer is completely resigned to the fact that Trump is going to win, why would he ask Trump to drop JD as his running mate? Usually the opposition likes a weak running mate, and JD doesn’t seem to be that strong so far.

You'd think that Schumer isn't in the business of giving Trump sound political advice, and if he truly thought Vance was a bad choice for Trump, then he'd keep his mouth shut.
