When I was a teenager, the first Spike Lee movie I ever watched was School Daze and it blew me away.

I rented it for kicks, I really didn't know what it was about, and when it became clear that it was centered around the racial conflict between light and dark skinned blacks, I became utterly captivated by it. I never knew such a thing existed until that movie.

She sounded like a pleasant woman.

it’s very hard to keep up with what they want segregated and what they want integrated tbh
