For me it was 2003 LSU Football.

Born in 1990. My Dad first got us season tickets in 1994 and started bringing me to games. Those were dark days for the Tigers. I thought National Championships were only for teams like Miami, Nebraska, Florida State, etc.

Being in the Dome on January 4th 2004 and seeing my old man cry as confetti rained down is something I will remember for the rest of my life. It was more about the journey than the end destination. 2007 was fun and 2019 may be the best team in history…but there is nothing like the first time in my generation. The only thing I can compare it to would be a South Carolina or Kentucky going on a 3-4 year solid run and capping it off with a Natty.

2003 LSU Football will always be my favorite. What y’all got!?

In the other Major Men’s Sports:
2000 Baseball
2005-2006 Basketball

I would agree 2003 lsu football
I didn’t think I would see it in my lifetime

1996 lsu baseball
The morris walk off
The 91 and 93 titles were nice but for sheer excitement against a Miami team lsu had no business beating that day gave lsu the dynasty the baseball run it’s been

I was born in ‘89 and feel the same way. That ‘03 season was a dream come true.

When Vincent broke it on the opening drive against OU. ive never heard a stadium so loud to this day.

2007 football. Yes, we had two overtime losses but that was a fun season.

Baseball 1996 for the ending.

Basketball, the WBB natty last year.

2023 Baseball- My son was little so I spent a lot of night rocking him to sleep watching almost every game on my phone. between that and one of the best teams ever it will always be a top season for me.

Yeah it’ll always be 03 for me, many of the same reasons you said, it was almost mind blowing to see LSU not shite their pants at a program pivotal moment like that first game against UGA. I skipped Saturday morning football practice to be at game day (greatest game day atmosphere ever at the pmac and it should always be there, not the parade grounds) had to run my arse off on Monday but it was worth it.

Then we went to to that SECCG and could not believe when I woke up we were projected to get into the BCSCG over USC.

For basketball, I’ll go with that stromile/jabari team. I’ll forever hate Wisconsin basketball for how that season ended.

2019 football and 2023 baseball hands down. As far as my favorite teams that didn’t win it all, the three game stretch of UF, Ole Miss and Bama in 2022 was one of the most exciting and unexpected turnarounds I’ve ever seen from an LSU team in any sport and for that reason the 2022 team will always hold a special place in my heart too.

1996 Baseball team for me along with the other teams in that era.

Just growing up in the 90s and being 10 years old during 96 and just reliving those memories in my mind gives me goosebumps. You just had to be there. Any kid who was playing baseball in the 90s got to live through and play through probably the greatest time for the sport of baseball as a whole. Awesome memories.

That season was straight madness!! Craziness throughout the whole of college football. #1 was being upset on a bi-weekly basis. The crazy pass play to beat Auburn with a second left on the clock. The five consecutive 4th down conversions against UF. “I’m a man!!! I’m 40!” From Gundy.

Outside of the very obvious ones, 2013 football was a fun team.

I was never more invested in a LSU team then I was the 98 baseball team. There was no doubt in my mind that they would three peat and the hurt from getting double dipped by USC in Omaha was the most pain I’ve ever felt from a LSU loss
