Paris absolutely killed it tonight. Best summer since 1994. People are certainly having a great summer. Couldn’t even imagine being in Europe this summer. Stats say one of five Americans traveled internationally this summer. Freakin great summer.

Tell the truth, did you even watch it or just took what you saw on conservative social media and ran with it? The production value of this opening was incredible. The ending with the light show using the Eiffel Tower alone was just insane.

For some odd reason when I think about the Olympic Opening Ceremony I think about that episode of King of the Hill where Hank Hill is running with the torch and falls in a puddle of water and puts out the flame and then lights it with a cigarette lighter lol. I always get a laugh waiting on someone to do that in real life.

OP is not talking about the production value. The point went over your head.

Always defending this type of things. You are sick Mickey!

"And I looked, and behold a pale horse;
and his name that sat on him was
Death, and Hell followed with him"
- Revelation 6:8

They were openly satanic.

I just watched it. It wasn't nearly as bad as what I was expecting from reading reports here.
I'm not a miserable frick though.

Yeah, it pisses a lot of people off that they were literally grooming kids, mocking Christ...etc.

Yep. There is a line... and they are crossing it and it's only going to get worse.

Dude relax. A white horse isn’t satanic. And watching the “last supper” scene didn’t even feel like it was the last supper. A still photo makes it seem that way, but it really didn’t appear that way live. Regardless, the snowflakes and pearl clutching and seeing what you want to see is a little much.

Eh I don’t think a lot is by accident, especially with how much allegory there was through the whole thing.

The last supper thing was almost assuredly intentional

Insightful post. However, please try to post less.

Some people really live miserable lives. Can’t imagine being so triggered by so little. No wonder they all crave to live alone on a ranch in the middle of nowhere.

My family enjoyed most of it. The runway show was stupid and pointless. The 3 some sex thing was far worse then the runway show. The end looked like an std med commercial.

Imagine being so paranoid you can’t watch tv for an hour without thinking someone is peddling satanism.

That was openly promoting debauchery plain and simple

At the end of day…..you can either just say “oh well nothing is going to change”
Or you can stand up for right vs wrong

Unfortunately we’ve reached a point in our society where people don’t care about values

The metal band and headless Marie Antoinette figures in the windows was pretty badass. Then the blood/ fireworks shooting out. Figured that would touch some populist boners here.

Too bad you guys were too busy with your boners and the trannies.
