I took my 18 year old and 3 of his friends to see Creed and Switchfoot last night. It was my first time seeing Creed (9th Switchfoot show).
Great crowd (from young to old) despite the rainy weather and I was pleasantly surprised by Creed’s performance.

I like Alter bridge better than Creed but I still appreciate their music.

People need to form an opinion on bands like Creed, Nickelback, Limp Bizkit and the like and stick to it.

I saw Creed in 2000 and they were great. My opinion hasn't changed.

Mark Tremonti is an underrated guitar genius.

I think you guys know what I’m talking about. There was a pretty significant amount of time when you would literally be laughed at by a lot of people if you said that you really liked any of those bands.

It seems that it’s become “cool” to like them over the last year or so, and it’s a pretty good snapshot of human nature rather than the true quality of the bands.

IDK, you don't get a signature PRS Series with out some recognition. Those licks were so fun to learn back in the day.

That's kind of any musical act that was a little too hokey and very much of their time. After a certain point, their sound becomes nostalgic, which is how we have successful tourers like Rick Springfield, Poison, New Kids on the Block, etc.

For alter bridge, I think it’s opposite. Tremonti is overrated and Myles Kennedy is underrated. But still very good guitar players though

Creed has made some absolute banger jams. I'd love to gonto a show if Scott Stapp promised not to say a single thing between songs.

He is a great guitarist, but as far as underrated its his vocals, he can bang out some Sinatra...

MT sings Sinatra

Yeh - it's almost as if people in high school and college don't have it all figured out when we're in those eras of our life. A snapshot of humanity indeed.

Human Clay came out when I was in 6th grade and the huge sound blew my mind. Tremonti and that album is the reason I play guitar.

Seeing them in Raleigh next week.

Weathered will always be one of my fave albums. Would love to hear them play "Hide" live.
