I can't see it but if Blake is able to somehow put him in position to make plays, who am I to question any of it.
I just think his lack of agility and awareness makes him a vulnerability in passing defense. He also looks like he needs to gain 10lbs to play run support in the role they are expecting him to play this year. Hope he proves me wrong. Sage also need Raymond's help in the biggest way.

I think guys under rate him and a lot of our DBs.
I feel they are all good to include sage, they have gotten used to a dysfunctional defense and are scared to 100% be accountable for there responsibility bc of so many blown assignments so they gamble and second guess themselves for even a 1/8 second and that’s enough to fall behind.
I think once our defense is accountable by position and or man defense they will better tackle the assignments.
Defense has been so messed up last few years I think they have felt they have a better chance at making a play freelancing and that’s not how you do it.
I really hope to see a lsu swarming defense with 3-5 hats on a ball carrier as soon as they touch the ball. That’s mages up for lack of talent and causes turnovers and when you have talent it’s just stifling

That Star position is perfect for Major and Coach Baker know this. Alot of people been saying that he should have been playing in the box from the start. Coach Baker didn't waste no time changing his position because he know what kind of player Major Burns already is which lets me know that we got ourselves a really Good defensive coordinator finally.

You make someone all SEC based on their PAST performances, not what you ‘think’ they might do under a new system. You have to earn the honor, it’s not a popularity contest.

He had the fifth most tackles in the league. If you are just looking at stats, the honor is merited.

He's like a five year starter that has made a couple of splash plays, it's reasonable that SEC and NCAA as a whole over rates him. LSU fans underrate him and Sage Ryan, both are obviously not elite, great, or possibly even good over the course of the season, but are average SEC starters.

If Burns is able to be used more around the line of scrimmage he is excellent. He struggles in space. His physicality is great though.

He sucks and we will suck if he starts again . Can anyone name 3 good or even decent plays he has made
