Variety

Now they're going to shop it to other networks.

It sucks, but man they fricked up season 1 so bad. Even a decent season 2 couldn't save it

Agreed. I hate watched through the end of season 1 but 2 was solid throughout in my opinion.

Imagine fricking that, to hell with these streaming services. Maybe Netflix will pick it up.

Paramount+ is shedding everything it seems.

shite, Evil got canceled even though it's one of the highest watched shows on streaming right now.

now THAT surprises me, and I have never watched it. I knew it was getting mad views, though.

Always showed up in the top 5 of originals

I never watched it on CBS, but once I watched it on Paramount+ I watched it more than I did on CBS, which was never. I don’t get why Paramount+ decides to get rid of certain shows. Evil and Halo goes down the drain but freaking SpongeBob is older than my oldest child who’s going on 22. At least Seal Team is getting a final season starting Aug, 11th.

It finally gets good and CBS says frick it. The target audience of NCIS is getting smaller and what’s left of that audience wouldn’t know Paramount+ if you painfully explained it to them over a couple hours. Hollywood doing what it does because they are so far removed from regular people, Hollywood wouldn’t know someone normal if a normal person was standing in front of the them.

I hope it finds a home. I know a lot of people didn't like the first season (and had Very good reasons), but it did substantially improve in season 2. Just needs a bit more tweaking out of some (well one) of the useless substories, and sticking to the main hard sci-fi plot, and it can grow legs and run. But if it is picked up, the next producers really need to be conscious of what has to be done.

Could I watch the second season without watching the first and be good? Heard that first season was dog shite so never bothered.

yes. probably better that way honestly. find a recap for season 1 and then forget it exists.

Every decision they made in season 1 seemed like they intentionally chose the opposite of everything in Halo

Those of us that had never played the game thought Halo was a good action show, especially for the 2020's. Same with Fallout. We need more of these types of shows.

If Halo followed the lead of Fallout this wouldn’t be happening but time is motherfricker. Fallout looked at Halo as what NOT to do. Amazon has a hit and Paramount+ fricked themselves because they didn’t know what to do with Halo, a show that should have been at the very top of things not to frick up. Maybe Paramount thought they had Disney money.
