I have a Kitchen Aid that's been in this house since 1992, so it's done it's job. It's old with just the knobs you turn. I hate having to buy a new one. They don't make appliances any more like they did many years ago.

I don't care about whether it's noisy because it's usually run at night and we run it about 2-3 times a week depending. I don't want some fancy computer washer. I just need it to clean dishes. Is there an old fashioned normal old dishwasher with simple operations out there? I'd take the knobs.

Any help would be appreciated? Napoleon, I would love you to chime in, please!

We bought a Bosch when we bought our house almost 4 years ago and it's been fantastic. It has the computer buttons but I don't know of many that won't. It works really well though and was worth what we spent on it.

Same. Don't let a few buttons scare you. It's very simple to use.

We have a Bosch but it’s 14 years old. Not sure what’s out there nowadays

Please post pics of your CURRENT dishwasher, not the machine that stopped working.

Thanks.

Bosch or KitchenAid. The cycles are longer than the old machines, but they are quiet and clean really well. The third to drawer is very handy for irregular and small items.

I would steer clear of LG and Samsung.

When we built, we had the Bosch and liked it. Our aging and senile large dog jumped on the open door and broke it the week of Thanksgiving. With guests due in, we replaced it with the KitchenAid that was in stock at Lowe’s. No complaints.

Do we send flowers or make a donation to the OP’s Lowe’s account?

Thanks. I figured I'd get the wife responses from folks who don't know me. There's no wife!
