I am convinced now he’s not in a fast mental decline. He’s just getting old. He corrected himself very quickly after the Putin gaffe. He seems pretty sharp and ready to continue to lead!

This is amazing on so many levels, the response no way comes close to what I watched. It was a disaster, but everyone is lifting Joe up, and mainly Republicans, cause they want to run against Joe…. Just incredible, everyone loves a freaking Zombie from their own angles….

I listened to it as I was driving back from Dallas so I didn't see any of it. That said, I think Joe averted the train wreck that many in his own party were hoping for., but ended up with a "fender bender" instead.. I think Joe bought himself some extra time tonight based upon his performance, (the bar was set so low to start with). The other big thing he did tonight IMO, was to give the big fish in the DNC party big headaches as he just made it much harder for them to push him from the ticket for now.
