Just a generational thing. Most people under 30 never seen Jordan play much less highlights

I don't know why but I am enjoying these posts of faux outrage over something trivial said by very promising rookies.

No doubt. Jordan is my all-time #1, but I also never saw Magic or Kareem or Wilt play to truly compare and know. We all know that highlights only tell half the story

Let me start by saying that I am by no means a LeBron fan. I can't stand the guy. He is the biggest "Pick Me Girl" in the world. He is cringe and I hate him.

Now, for the part where you will hate me:

Lebron's career is arguably (not definitively) better than Jordan's. Hear me out. Lebron has played almost double the seasons that Jordan played and is still one of the best players in the league at near 40. Thats insane no matter how you spin it. Lebron is also a better passer and rebounder which has to come into play when talking about the best overall player. I am not arguing that Lebron in his prime is better than Jordan in his prime but I am saying that Lebron has had an arguably better career because longevity matters.

If you are asking me to pick one of them to be on the Pels next season, I am picking prime Jordan. I just don't think that the argument that Lebron had a better career is off base.

Magic came into the NBA only 5 years before Jordan and their careers overlapped by something like 7 years. .

Kids these days don't know and never will, Jordan would break Labron mentally before they even stepped on the court to play 1 v 1.

Post like this weird me out. Argue stats, play styles, defense, rings, etc. Breaking someone mentally though? It's basketball. LeBron has been one of the most famous basketball players on earth since he was 16 and probably one of the most hated (definitely most scrutinized) for just as long. He's still playing 20+ years later at the highest level. What do you truly think Jordan would have done to have LeBron crying in a puddle on the floor of the court?

Generational thing. I feel like unless you grew up watching Jordan you really can't appreciate how dominant in his era that he was. You'd be a fool to say that LJ hasn't had a huge impact on every team he's been on, but he never truly established dominance over every player in the league. I'd say Kobe was the closest to Jordan in that respect, lot of fair comparisons between the two. I'd probably put Larry Legend at number 3; there wasn't a player in the NBA at that time that enjoyed facing Bird in the playoffs.

Les Miles has truly lost control.
