What are the limits?
Places that sell liquor to serve or have signs prohibiting carry?
Private residences without approval from owner?

CCP is the biggest scam the anti gun lobby has ever perpetrated. Get folks to willing and publicly confess to being gun owners/carries. 20 years from now, or less, CCP holders will be getting a knock at the door from a gub'mint jack booted thug.

Some people are so afraid of diversity that they feel they need to bring a gun everywhere. What’s scarier? A diverse person expressing their culture or a non diverse person with a hate filled heart and a gun in their waistband?

Government buildings, hospitals, and any private business with signage prohibiting weapons. Probably a few more that I don't remember.

From Blake Miguez - the sponsor of the bill..

quote:

Violent criminals will not be able to rely on Louisiana restaurants being a place to easily prey on our citizens and their families. #SB214 which was signed into law as #ACT37 allows law-abiding citizens in Louisiana to carry a concealed firearm into a resturant that also serves alcohol. This applies to those carrying concealed with a permit and also without one under the new constitutional carry law. Effective July 4, 2024. #lagov #lalege It is important to remember that Louisiana currently has an alcohol limit of .05 BAC or greater for those concealed carrying a firearm in public. It is not a good idea to mix the consumptions of large quantities of alcohol with firearms. You are in the best defensive position to protect yourself and your family from the attack of a violent criminal when you are not under the influence of alcohol. #2A

Ahhh, I noticed a new 'guns not allowed' sign on an Ochsner property today.

This explains it.

So now the governor is trying to limit alcohol consumption in restaurants?

First they came after the fake weed stores and I didn’t speak up because I didn’t sell fake weed
Then they came after the restaurants…

I believe the same prohibited places that were listed in the CC paperwork simply carry over.

If only there was a class of this?

Someone should start teaching other people when and where they can carry their firearm legally.

All of my firearms were lost in a tragic boating accident.
