Damn. I know a lot of Californians moved to MT but i would have thought Tester would be clearly losing before now.

Testers ads are hitting Sheehy hard on him being out of stater, who lies, and hired lobbyists for his business. It's on repeat. I can only hope the people my state have had enough of Tester. He's worthless.
Sheehy ads are tying tester to potatus so it must be working.

Tester is a farmer and native Montanans know him. He's "old line" there. Pro gun and pro Keystone XL. Wanted to repeal the Patriot Act and originally opposed the Dream Act. Pretty much old time centrist Democrat who is suspicious of corporate designs in Montana. He also butchers his own meat and brings it wit him to DC.

I think Sheehy is a hell of a candidate and want him to win but that is pretty fake. The fine print says the poll was from March and it looks like a polling outfit that was hired by him. I appreciate the game here though.

Also hammering him over his statements in the past about wanting to get rid of public lands, blocking access to public lands, and his charging large sums of money to rich non-residents for hunting on his ranch. Painting him as an out-of-stater who is not in touch with the average Montanan. Access to public lands and hunting access are near and dear to many Montanans. I wish these guys would just keep their traps shut on these issues. They say these things to an audience of conservative ranchers because that’s what they want to hear, but then their comments get picked up and blasted across the state. Sheehy is a great candidate, and this stuff is dang near the only thing Tester has going for him. But in a race this close we can’t afford to lose votes over these types of issues. It happened last election between Tester and Rosendale, and it cost Rosendale the election. I just hope Sheehy has enough going for him to overcome it.

The #1 Senate seat most likely to flip is West Virginia

Montana politics are interesting. I think Tester’s ads against Sheehy have been pretty damn effective but I still think Sheehy is going to win. This state has gotten much redder recently which shocks me but evidently some of these dumbfrick Californians have actually learned something.

I think the writing has been on the wall for Tester since Daines beat the brakes off Bullock in 22. I’m honestly surprised Tester is even running. The old school MT Democrats seem to be a dying breed. I’m happy we’re sending Republicans to Washington but not a big fan of Gianforte and his lackeys. I wish Rosendale was running instead for the entertainment value. Sounds like that dude has some major skeletons in his closet

Tester has been lucky for years as he usually comes up for reelection in a non general election year. Same with Sherrod Brown in Ohio, who also pretends to be a "moderate" while voting as a commie 99% of the time.

You're right. I forgot about the public hunting land thing. That's definitely an issue that speaks to ppl up here. They tried to get Gianforte with that, too over fishing access near his place. We have a few big ranches in my county that have shut down some spots or access to public land but plenty of public land if hunters wanted to work at it a little. I was shocked when I moved here the number of "hunters" here that ride the road and shoot out of their truck. But, just how they do it here. I don't get mad at private land owners but i do get frustrated with game and fish up here and their crazy rules and regs (tags, etc). That said, seems there are a lot of Montana folks selling out to out of staters when locals have hunted some of these private spots for years and now they are getting locked out and don't like it but they sure like the money being paid to them when they sell their land.

If Trump had endorsed Rosendale instead of Sheehy, would Rosendale's chances be better than Sheehy's (understanding that Sheehy likely wins anyway)?
