I thought CNN was going to stop the debate

Who else thought that in the first few minutes, that CNN was just going to stop the debate or take a very early commercial break?
I saw Tapper’s and Bash’s faces, and I was just sure that the producers were whispering in their ears that they were going to pull the plug.
I was in disbelief that they thankfully kept it going so that we got the full show.
And, the first time Biden struggled really badly, Trump looked so freaking surprised. I think the level of disaster actually caught him off guard.

It’s ironic because it was like Trump was telling them to make any rule they wanted to benefit Biden. He was still going to whip his arse, lol. That’s what happened.

I wondered if the Dems would eventually throw Biden under the bus to swap him out. About 30 minutes into it, it started becoming clear that this was it.

Any healthcare folks want to chime in as to why Joe wasn't wide eyed and popped up on his State of the Union type of cocktail? Would having a cold prevent him from getting juiced up? Possibly fears of some blood pressure issues? Is that why he looked & acted like he did?

That's how I read it from the start - but I was not totally comfortable with it

- the absolute level of degradation Joe was showing - not juiced up enough
- the relative fairness of the moderators - could not have expected better

This threw me for a loop - I had always thought they'd wait til after the convention to make the swap out so they could use whatever 'emergency' procedures they have to avoid having to deal with Kamala
This early debate didn't fit that logic - especially since they had to KNOW he was not up to this level of public exposure.
So = I am confused as to their actual motive on this. Still think the swap comes after the convention and it will be Big MIKE!!

The swap will be how they steal the 2024 election. It will create chaos and confusion, upon which dims thrive and excel.
Of course by the time all the courts are actually hearing any of the challenges (again), the damage will already be done (again) and Gavin Newsom will be the fraudulently installed White House occupant.
I've been beating this drum for three years. The theory has come slightly into question lately, but is once again looking more plausible than ever. I'm not backing off until I'm proven wrong. It was going to be Kamala, but I believe that even the establishment elites didn't foresee exactly how bitchy and insufferable that Harris would ultimately be perceived by the public. At that point, it became Gavin.
The obstacles they now face, are (ironically) Harris and "Dr." Jill. Jill is loyal to Potato to a fault, and just might burn it all to the ground if she feels like they're giving Joe the shaft. Kamala, reportedly, is flaming furious that she is being overlooked in favor of Gavin and Stretchin Gretchen, and Harris has the potential to be a royal pain in the arse to their plans as well.
In short, shite is really about to get interesting, and I'm not sure the DNXi will be able to hide the fracturing and infighting from the public at large. I still think the average voter is the most ignorant and retarded voter in this nation's history, but many of the sheeple heard the rumors of Biden's deterioration and heard it dismissed as "Right-wing wishcasting" by the MSM, but then they tuned into XiNN to watch a Biden who has literally took an 8-day vacation to prepare for this debate, absolutely fall flat on his face in embarrassing fashion. Not all, but some of the sheep are beginning to question if the "right-wing conspiracy theories" are actually true.

I was surprised they kept the camera on Biden in some of his moments. The blank states, playing with his ear, and once it looked like he fell asleep. I would not be surprised if someone was hitting the remote on a drug pump Biden was wearing.

The medication given to him for those speeches were maxed out.
The medication for this debate was maxed out.
This was the best they could get. The 8 days prep was not prep work. He has dementia. What they instruct him will be gone within a limited time.
What they are trying to do was play around with his drug cocktail maximized and cram as much as they could within the confined of the drugs.
Biden had signs of dementia years ago. It gets worse at night. This is the best they could tune him up for that time of the day.
He's not only done, he is not super long for this world. Now granted he is 81 years old so he has simply his age. But those with dementia at the end start to more obviously show symptoms. I suspect he is there.
Soon he will not be able to do anything and then I said previously 5 years something like pneumonia will get him.
People talk about cancer being horrible, and yes it is. But dementia is something else people fear. Losing one's self is horrible.
And everyone is correct that biden put himself out there so him doing this in public is all on him and jill, and I agree with you.
