Not the one you see at the gas station with the 3 cars connected, the domino game.
Anyone else a fan? I swear we killed at least 20-30 hours last week playing while on the family vacation. There were 18 people so at any given time 6 or 7 of us were playing.
It's literally become my new favorite game to play with a group.

Sounds like a logistics nightmare. Definitely a Winter time activity.

It's my family's favorite. Its the only game that we have had 4 generations playing at the same time. From a pre-reading 5 year old to a 94 year old that has to read them as Braille, all at the same table battling it out.

Same
We kept it simple.. Bragging rights for being the first out of dominos rather than keeping score over multiple hands.
That way the players could come and go each game and nobody felt at a disadvantage.

Is this anything like chicken foot?

Sounds like a bad night in Matamoros.

We were recently introduced to it on a vacation with friends. We got one of our own now, and actually played a few rounds tonight with our daughters.

Chicken foot is the game my family plays. If I recall it's fairly similar but not exactly the same.

Goodness, that’s a lot of time for the randomness that is Mexican train.
If interested I could suggest some that could be even more fun that work well with 8 players, and with the wide array of ages. Just in case you think you might get tired of MT

Sounds like one hell of a weekend in Tijuana to me.

I knew a Mexican girl who pulled a train.

We have a Mexican Train game set that has an annoying button with train sounds. I love pressing that button when I win. My family loves me for that.

Very fun but I prefer regular dominos.

I thought Mexican Train was regular dominos when I was a kid. When I got to college everyone played 42 and I found out what this game was called.
