Looking to possibly pull the trigger on one this week. Just wonder if anyone has had much knocked off sticker price

Never buy new. Let some other schmuck take the depreciation hit.

Know two folks that have them. They talk highly of the car and have not had any real issues

We’re on our third one…the first two got 200k miles before we got rid of them. Great vehicles.

I will say though the current one which is a 2018 doesn’t seem as well put together. The infotainment and interior is good…but it feels a little cheaper and the transmission will shift back and forth at around 30. It cruises better than the older ones on the interstate at 80. Good third row.

I’d recommend. Also, shop online for a good source for the extended warranty. There are a lot of electronics and the pricing is reasonable.

Niece just leased a 2025 for her growing family earlier this month. It was pretty loaded with the plastic floor mats, 3rd row, and infotainment center.

15k miles a year, payments are under 500 a month. Had to put down about 6800 lucky a trade ate up some of that deposit.

Financing would have put her at too high of a payment and would have needed the extended warranties and other at least now she is set for the next three years, and they take the thing back with 44,999 miles on it. She starts again with a 2028 or decides to buy it.

We bought one 6 months ago and we’re able to get around 2-3k off of sticker.

What you described sounds like a poor financial decision. She put down a lot of cash to still have a lease of $500/month.

Pilot is a good dependable car but there are better in the segment. I would expect there to be negotiating room. Toyota stop sale on grand highlander probably shifts some demand towards the Pilot in the short term.

I bought a 2024 Odyssey last week. Looked at both the Odyssey and Pilot but with very young kids, we made the sensible choice.

They have pretty good rates right now in-house, down to 3.9.

I had the "delivery fee" removed from sticker, which was 1.5k, but that all I could get.

Honda is much more pleasant to work with than Ford or GM, and the vehicles are substantially more affordable.

The sliding doors alone make it worth it. Way more storage too.

We bought a 2020 Pilot Elite in December of 2022 with 45k miles on it. Haven’t had any issues as of yet. But that same vehicle with same mileage goes for around 5k less than what we bought it for. Just some food for thought on the used market.

Honda has great resale as well

Reliability will be great. Not luxurious but solid interior. Decent driving experience. Good fuel economy.

We would pull the trigger on one if it wasn't a little too long for our garage. It would fit but would be a little too long for walking around the front and back. We also don't need the 3rd row. So we are currently waiting on the 2025 Honda Passport to be available to see what new features it has. The Pilot always seems to be a little better than the Passport, and we would definitely buy the Pilot except for the size issue in the garage where the Passport will fit better.

We bought one 6 weeks ago. They were willing to deal on the '24s but my wife liked the '25 blackout so sticker price it was. Honda was offering some nice interest rates.

The best thing about Honda (not saying our pilot is a bad vehicle by any means) is the financing. Usually get pretty good interest rates straight from them. We are at 2.9% and that was at peak inflation.

Bought a 2017 model in 2019 ( lease car) good vehicle used on numerous long trips and day to day commute

Only issue is in eco mode it under or over shifts around 30-35 mph range

Thanks for the feedback…. We had a 2017 that was wrecked and totaled by the insurance company. I hate having to buy something but we don’t really have a choice… was hoping maybe there’s a little wiggle room in the sticker
