So many hot older ladies. There and the North Shore. An embarrassment of riches. I need to move there. They love me when I roll up in my 73 Vega with as much as $27 in my wallet.

Odd remark considering Orleans is a lawless wasteland

No it’s not.
There some recent development happening along metairie road but the vast majority of Metairie looks the same as it did 15+ years ago.
Now there are some pockets that have rapidly changed over the past 5 or so years and some of it is a little sad to see. A lot of old metry cottages have been torn down and replaced with barely distinguishable white cubes that are built to the absolute limits of what the parish will allow.
Some people have chosen to rehab and make sensible additions to their old cottages and those have infinitely more curb appeal and interest than any of the 3 white box designs that have dominated 80% of the new construction around OM.

Too close to NO, too much crime, too much crowding.

It does have one of the few Bud's Broiler left in existence.

There have been some improvements in beautification of neutral ground on Vets. Lakeside Mall is better than it was 15 yrs ago a few upgrades to Bucktown Harbor have been made Old Metry is nicer as well but otherwise Metry is the same and not very appealing. River Ridge is best place to live in JP and Elmwood is booming

I don’t agree with the OP. But the claim isn’t as crazy as it seems at first.
