I was lucky enough to be at the perfect age to see the early and best Lollapaloozas.
I’ve seen
Chris Cornell ‘92
Layne Staley “93
Adam Yauch “94
Other musicians I’ve seen
Shannon Hoon
Dolores O'Riordan
The Ramones
30 years ago yesterday lollapalooza’93 kicked off in Vancouver

Mikey houser and Todd nance on drums. First panic show. It was amazing. Watching the old shows on YouTube don’t do it justice.

Do you mean just before they passed away?
As an 8yo tigah, I saw Elvis at the Assembly center two months before he died.
I saw the best musician to ever pick up an instrument (Prince) in 1988 and 2001, way before he died.

Stevie Ray Vaughan
I was a huge fan at the time of his death. A coworker came in my office (when the news of the crash hit the radio the next morning ) and told me, and I was gutted. Glad I got to see him a few years earlier.

Linkin Park.
Saw them 2 days after I turned 18 in the summer right of 2007 before I started college with 3 of my best friends. Still one of the best shows I've ever been to. Chester was incredible live and I would do a lot to be able to see him/them again.

Sat at a table next to Andy Gibb for a couple of hours one night.in August, 1984 at a nightclub in Acapulco. Nice guy.
As far as concerts - too many to count . Here are a few that come to mind.
Freddie Mercury and Queen
Chicago and Earth, Wind and Fire when everyone was still living.
Same with a lot of the Mowtown acts such as the Temptations and the Four Tops.
The Killer, Jerry Lee Lewis and Jimmy Buffett at Jazz Fest.
Stood on the first row next to the stage in the summer of 1981 to see Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 on the group's last tour before Michael went solo. Michael was an incredible performer.
ETA
My wife is chiming in here. She got to see Elvis in his prime in concert in Mobile.
