Several aggrieved members of the University of Wyoming chapter of the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma 1 (“Appellants”) filed this lawsuit against the sorority and its president (“Appellees”) over the proper interpretation of the sorority’s governing documents. Basically, the trial court ruled against them because there's jurisprudence cautioning against the courts stepping in to help individuals attack the bylaws of the organization they belong to. Whether that's true or not, this appeal was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction because the trial court hasn't issued a final ruling yet. They are free to file another appeal after that point.
