Anyone know what he is up to these days? I wonder if he is for hire as transfer portal/recruiting mercenary??
He always seemed to get the studs(even though they usually never made it to campus). Maybe with NIL, they could???

He's putting together the "Portal Games" exhibition that will be played in Indiana the day after the CWS ends.
It's a game or couple games for guys in the portal to showcase in front of coaches and scouts.
Seems dumb to me, but whatever.

that's what girls travel ball teams have been doing for years, irony is the people representing the schools are there to make sure all scholarship offers are used up so as not to penalize the legit mens sports, not necessarily looking at filling the needs of the schools sb team, not sure how the latest rule changes have affected this though

I was (at the time) a switch hitter. I went to switch during one of the BP sessions with him and he jumped my arse, Told me I shouldn't being trying to hit from the left side if I couldn't hit for shite from the right.
He later jumped my arse again during some pitching session he was running when I told him I threw 3 pitches.... Said I don't throw any pitches cause I can't throw them for strikes

I work for a company located in central Texas and anytime someone had to visit the plant in Denham Springs I was the guy. As a Denham Springs native I jumped at the opportunity to visit my mom and dad. One day as I was checking in at the Marriott Courtyard just off of College Dr and I see my old highschool coach, "Coach Bailey." We were never allowed to call him Beatle Bailey. I asked him why he was checking into the hotel because he had a house and lived in the Denham Springs area. He introduced me to Turtle Thomas and said that he was checking in Turtle because Turtle is interviewing for a job coaching on the baseball team. I told everyone at the plant that the new coaching addition is named Turtle. Nobody believed me.
