If tweet fails to load, click here. Could get interesting, but he’s definitely gone. Who do you think we replace him with?

Fortunately the Lakers top target doesn't matter. Only Lebron's top target.
Cavs are definitely in play.

So let me get this straight. The lakers and cavs fired coaches who have more wins and playoff victories than Willie and want to replace him with an assistant on Willies staff.
Meanwhile we extended Willie last offseason for getting to the playin and the lead assistant who helped Willie this year to get to 49 wins is likely gone because other teams feel hes a great candidate to be a head coach despite us barely getting in the play-in and getting swept. I guess what I’m saying is do these other teams think(what some fans think here as well), that if Borrego was our head coach we would be a much better team?

Why are you shocked. That is exactly how bad franchises always run.
Pels are run poorly, so none of this should surprise you.

Green is having a monty Williams dejavu tenure here.
He keeps making amateur mistakes, leaning too heavily on one end of the court. He's not allowing young guys to naturally mature and forcing vets to play to protect the sanctity of "defense".
I'm not even sure if a quality pg coming in will fix this disaster of an offense in crunch time.

That's the cons of having a guy like Willie as your head coach. You are going to lose some good Xs and Os guys to head coaching jobs. We've already seen it from Malone and Finch through the years. Like I said last season when he was hired, we'll go through a replacement everytime we hire a quality Xs and Os guy. They are in high demand and will always be.

It's Borrego's agent telling Woj/Shams that Borrego is looking for a head coaching gig.
Seriously, Borrego has been some team's top target for like two months now and... yet... still no one has hired him

Sadly, with Langdon going to the Pistons and if Borrego goes to the Cavs, that likely would take 2 of the potential trading spots for BI out of the running. No way Borrego would support bringing in BI.

Not sure why he’d stay here. Willie is too fricking stubborn to listen to him and BI does whatever the frick he wants. Zero accountability.

I get why someone would want to coach the Lakers, but i'd want nothing to do with a LeBron team as my first head coaching job. Sounds bad, but especially if I'm a white dude. Coaches don't last long around LeBron, especially white ones.
