The Consumer Price Index (CPI), which measures inflation on the consumer level, was unchanged month over month, compared with expectations of a 0.1% gain, and decreased 0.1% to 3.3% year over year, better than estimates of 3.4%. The Core CPI Rate, which strips out food and energy prices, increased by 0.2% for May, which was lower than expectations of 0.3%, and decreased 0.2% to 3.4% year over year, below estimates of 3.5%.

FedWatch Tool projecting a September and December cut as of now. That obviously changes all of the time though.

If there is any saving Biden, then this country is seriously fricked. I've never seen a worse president in my lifetime

William Henry Harrison made more correct decisions as POTUS than has Joe “I think I have a much higher IQ than you, I suspect” Biden.

Yet millions of people would gladly resort to eating cat food under this fool if it meant owning the MAGAs.

Food Prices keep going up but Ole Joe looking good going into the election. Shocker! If Trump wins look for the following month after election to see some seriously bad numbers.

When are y'all going to learn? "Rate" cuts happen after a bull steepener in the Treasury market. These reports don't matter

If they did SOFR would have been double digits in 2021

I didn't know they had been removed.

Varying stats are all over the place, but the safe bet for the last couple of months now has been a September cut.

What do you all think the end game is on rates? I really don't think they can afford to keep them even at moderate levels in order to reinvigorate the housing market. I think they be low again.

I don't believe her on this, but I do have a close contact who is BIG in the real estate world and she has heard that they want to get to 0 again from "someone who would know" TIFWIW, which probably isn't much.
