I voiced my concern and displeasure with the FISA renewal, and this was his response to me:

quote:

But as someone who taught constitutional law, I understand that our government must deploy tools like these with the utmost caution and diligence. That is why I voted in favor of several amendments to the FISA program that would have strengthened FISA’s warrant requirement, stopped the government from purchasing bulk data, and injected more oversight into the FISA process.

Of course he knew that his amendments would not pass, and then he voted for renewal anyway. It was of course just more theatre coming from him. He expects us to accept his disingenuous nonsense.

Odds are that you will and if not, by voting along with the uniparty, he has assured himself a cush job at the taxpayers expense. He doesnt care and doesnt need to pretend that he does, he has done what his real boss told him to do.

I had a case with Kennedy years ago
when he was Buddy Roemer’s special counsel. His Minnie Pearl accent is bullshite. He’s a well-spoken, somewhat sophisticated guy. He’s definitely not a right wing conservative.

Apparently he is too scared to go sideways with our IC because "they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you".

Reminder that he and Cassidy were both registered Democrats until the changed parties to aid in statewide elections. Neither one changed their beliefs. They aren’t even as conservative as some of our former Democratic Senators like John Breaux.

It strikes me that Schumer is from NY. Maybe Trump should run for governor in NY, so he can create his own intell community and go after Schumer.

So the "Aww schucks" schtick is all perfomative? The more I follow politics the more I'm convinced a lot of politicians are either failed thespians or wannabe actors.

He's only good at theatrics, like senate hearings where he pretends to bash lefties.

They probably shake hands and have drinks afterwards. Hes a fraud.

This is a huge part of the problem. The founders believed that the government should have a healthy fear of the people. The government has worked hard to reverse that dynamic.

I wonder which one of his interns wrote that response?

Definitely sociopaths and narcissists, but I think that goes hand in hand with the type of personality that's drawn to politics.

Ben Harnwell refers to the ruling elites as our "Sociopathic Overlords."

Senator John Kennedy is not an idiot. He may be a useful one, from the Kremlin’s perspective. But objectively, the Louisiana Republican has nothing in his résumé that suggests a large cavity inside his cranium.

Kennedy earned the highest honors at Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes scholar, and he was executive editor of the Virginia Law Review at the not-too-shabby University of Virginia law school.

So how does a certified nerd – one of the elites of the elite – end up peddling Russian-backed disinformation on national television not once, but twice?

You can read about that Here!!
