Taped to the handguard, "Israeli carry" has always been a stupid concept to me. Carrying an unloaded or empty-chamber weapon for self-defense is almost pointless.

I was there this time a year ago and didn’t see anyone in civilian clothes carrying a weapon.

Those folks got complacent and Hamas made them pay for it.

I mean, for personal protection, yeah it's pretty dumb. To protect against invasion and just ensuring the populace is ready to go in seconds, I'm sure it's fine.

ETA: To the OP, it's a magazine, not a clip...
