Although I agree with them regarding this, it isn’t the big deal that it appears at first glance. They aren’t anything other than a conservative advocacy group

quote:
The American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) is a socially conservative advocacy group of pediatricians and other healthcare professionals in the United States, founded in 2002.[1][2] The group advocates against abortion rights and rights for gay, queer, and transgender people. ACPeds promotes conversion therapy and purity culture.[3][4][1] As of 2022, its membership has been reported at about 700 physicians.[5][6][1]

so in other words, you personally support transgenderism on our society.

What makes them less important than the trans, or any other group? Them being anti-baby murder somehow discounts them?

They are a tiny group of politically aligned people. I didn’t say they were "less important" per se, just pointing it out so people didn’t just look at the name and think they were representative of pediatricians as a whole.

Joe Biden loves children too, a lot.

Wait, I thought this group previously was onboard with this stuff.
ETA - one of these physician groups had a statement that supported this stuff in the past, but it may not have been this one.
Also, if the SPLC comes after you, then you are probably doing the right thing.

The american academy of pediatrics is the big one
It’s also the one that silently and without notice took down decades of guidance about letting infants see facial movement/expression when speaking (for language development, etc) because they didn’t want it to provide an argument against the pseudoscience of masking. Decades of actual science quietly deleted from public view.
Still one of the most through-the-looking-glass things I’ve witnessed from our institutions

Exactly. What we need is for a group like The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) to come out with a similar statement. However, “they are becoming increasingly "aligned" in supporting "gender affirming care."

And his trolling has become pedestrian and unfunny. I am afraid he is transitioning from clown troll to ugly, angry, contrarian.

Looks like you found your info on Wiki links. Did you know that most doctors are not members of the AMA.

Allowing parents to mutilate their kids ought to be illegal

American College of Pediatrics own website as opposed to Wikipedia’s slanted definition
Yes it’s a conservative group of doctors, but this:
Is bullshite.

No, seems what you're saying is this...
Even though these are highly experienced and trained pediatric doctors, that because of the organization they represent a conservative ideology and has no political pull, their medical expert opinions mean nothing?
That what you meant?

Wrong. They're actual healthcare professionals who advocate for best medical practices.
Wikipedia isn't the most reliable source. Whoever gets administrative power decides what it says. Several years ago they blocked "Grand Theft Auburn" from being used on the page about the LSU-Auburn series. They also claim the Lost Cause promotes white supremacy even though it explicitly does the opposite.
