They are both basically the exact same place so which comes out on top?

Alexandria is at the bottom of the list. I don't care what category.

I’ve been to most cities in Louisiana. These are not even close to the most depressing and at least have amenities.

Have always had a great time in Monroe. Alexandria feels awkward.

Monroe has some extremely nice areas, some great restaurants, and lots of amenities. Not in the same ballpark.

Alexandria is the land that time forgot. That being said, as a 5 year old who made family trips there from Jonesville for doctor’s appointments and Sam’s runs it might as well have been New York City

I always enjoy Monroe when I go there. Although a little piece of it’s heart went missing ever since The Holidome closed down.

Monroe just because of the restaurant options.

I had a gf in college that was from there. She wanted to get married and move back to live forever. I told her I’d rather spend the rest of my life on death row at Angola.

We parted ways.

Stay away from south Monroe/Richwood and you'll be fine. Ellic has no redeeming qualities.

Bobbisox had a lot of older women whose sole purpose in being out on the wknd was to score some younger cock.

As bad as Monroe sucks, it is light years better than Alexandria. The only thing Alec has going for it is the Bentley and the fact you are within 2.5 hrs of virtually anywhere in Louisiana.
