Give the kid a break. He accounted for a run and gave one up, I’d say he’s square. It sucks, but we just didn’t have enough firepower to beat UNC.

I don’t agree with harsh comments, but if you go back to the first inning he was lazy on a pop fly and it ended up costing LSU a run. So he technically gave up a couple today.

He gives a lazy effort. That play was coming all season. Just happened at the worst time.

I mean, Im not mad at the kid and I know he will improve. But he gave up 2 runs. Should've caught the line drive to center in the 1st and has to catch that one in extras.
Our outfield play is just not good. All the good defensive outfielders can't hit and the rest either aren't good defensively or are young.

He's not "square" and there's nothing wrong with expecting him to make that play and be upset when he didn't.

I’m not arguing we shouldn’t expect him to make the play. Of course we should. shite happens though. MLB players are not perfect and shite like that happens every now and then.
