LSU had saved their ace for game 2 eleven out of twelve times when hosting as a 1 seed and actually even did it once as a 2 seed on the West Coast before Jay arrived.

FWIW, I think we would have better offensive production facing their ace than facing their #3 pitcher we faced today and their coach made the right decision to give their ace more rest.

Arkansas is playing a 4 seed. We were playing a 3. 2-3 is not the same thing at all
